The Fire Element is related to summer, the most ‘yang’ and outward time of the year and is connected to the emotion of joy.
The heart and circulatory system, small intestine, triple burner, and pericardium are associated with Fire. People with Fire imbalances can carry a sadness or lack of joy deep within themselves, yet laugh and put on a happy face. Playing, having fun and intimacy are all extremely important to nourish the Fire Element.
When Fire is out of balance there may be circulatory problems, or depression and a lack of joy.
